A firm favourite in the UK’s foodie fixtures list, Bacon Connoisseurs Week aims to highlight the vast range of tasty, quality bacon available to savour in the UK.

Running from the 19th – 25th March 2012, the week consists of an annual trade competition where the finest cuts and cures of premium bacon are showcased by British butchers and producers.

Wild Card’s 2012 campaign brings to life the British public’s enduring love of one of its long-standing national ‘foodie’ treasures, bacon through a Red, White & Bacon inspired media relations campaign.  Next year’s activity will be fronted by a  national treasure (watch this space…) who will be lending her support by celebrating the work that Red Tractor bacon farmers do through the release of a Red, White & Bacon recipe booklet and vodcast.
