Cornwall Food & Drink

Cornwall Food & Drink is a private enterprise to promote Cornwall's food and drink producers, suppliers, retailers and restaurateurs. Now firmly established as one of the nation's favourite food festivals, the Cornwall Food & Drink Festival brings together everything that people love about Cornish food: three days in September, jam-packed with the county's finest producers and chefs, all for free.

Wild Card co-ordinates the national campaign for the festival and various events that Cornwall Food & Drink stages throughout the year.  Integrated tactics include national news and feature generation, broadcast drops and targeted promotional activity to generate wide-reaching, pre-event coverage.  Annual reach (excluding broadcast) is in excess of 60 million.

Carrie Donald, Sunday Times "The team at Wild Card are excellent PRs: efficient and friendly without being pushy, understanding of what suits the newspaper and fun to work with too.." Aggie Mackenzie, TV presenter and food writer ""It's always a joy dealing with the Wild Card team. Everyone I have ever dealt with at Wild Card approaches their work with efficiency, expertise, diligence and utter professionalism. Oh, and they're a lot of fun too!"" Caroline Boucher, Observer Food Monthly "Wild Card do their homework. They familiarise themselves with editorial viewpoints before they pitch and then do so intelligently. They don't waste time and they don't witter. They know their clients thoroughly, and put them across well. They follow up but don't hound. Their releases are to the point and well written..."" Sarah Randell, Food Director, Sainsbury's Magazine ""A professional, friendly team, both in London and Cornwall, who tightly target stories and products to our magazine, meaning we both get good results every time."" Joanna Fortnam, The Daily Telegraph ""I’ve very much enjoyed working with the staff at Wild Card - they have a knack for setting up Chelsea events and stories in a way that is out of the ordinary and make the gardening business so much more fun and easy to feature.""
