Lynher Dairies
The award-winning artisan Cornish cheese, Yarg, is famous for both its unique texture and subtle taste. The cheese is handmade by Lynher Dairies, using milk from its own cows, topped up with milk from local herds. It is a deliciously tangy, semi-hard cheese that is creamy under the rind and slightly crumbly in the core. Each individual truckle is wrapped either in edible nettle leaves or in wild garlic leaves, each of which gives a subtle flavour to the cheese.
