Ryvita

The Ryvita Company was established in Poole, Dorset in 1925, where it continues to mill its own rye flour, sourced from British farms. Over the last 86 years, the Ryvita brand has grown to 14 different varieties from Crispbreads and Crackerbreads which are perfect for lunch with indulgent toppings to Minis and Thins, great for snacking on. Iconic Ryvita advertising has been a regular feature of commercial television stations, featuring stars as diverse as Julie Andrews and Howard’s Way star, Jan Harvey.

Wild Card’s PR strategy for Ryvita is to reposition the product - in all its variants - as tasty, sociable and versatile; ideal for a variety of meal and snacking occasions. Highly effective partnerships have been established with relevant personalities and key opinion formers, including top TV chef Valentine Warner and cheese expert Juliet Harbutt. These relationships have been utilised to support NPD, build brand advocacy and inspire trial, overturning perceptions of the brand as purely a ‘diet food.’

Stuart Pritchard, Editor-in-Chief, Smart Life ""Fast, efficient and also able to provide spirit and wine - you rock!"" Joseph Liu, Senior Brand Manager, Gü Puds ""I really enjoy working with Wild Card. They add a lot of value to our business. They are highly adaptable, well-informed, current on trends, efficient and proactive in identifying opportunities for Gü. Their team aligns well with the character of our brand and the people here, which goes a long way in creating a positive team dynamic."" Fiona Beckett, freelance food & drink writer "There are two things about PR agencies that really madden journalists. One is when they don't have the vaguest idea of target audiences and the other is when they don't understand how tight deadlines are - however unreasonable they may be! Wild Card scores on both fronts. They know what what I'm interested in and don't waste time with irrelevant stories. And they make things happen quickly. This means I'm more inclined to pay attention when they get in touch."" Lena Corner, Independent on Sunday Review Magazine ""Fast, efficient and never any bullshit, a total pleasure to deal with. If only more PRs could be like this."" William Hartston, The Daily Express ""Don’t believe anything you hear about the wild, Wild Card women – they’re delightfully tame and a great pleasure to work with. And their client list is of an exceptionally high and tasty quality. What more could a hungry journalist of taste and refinement wish for?""
