The Big Lunch

A nationwide initiative, the roots of The Big Lunch lie firmly in Cornwall through the Eden Project’s inspiration that the world can quickly become a better place if we get to know our neighbours and build a stronger sense of community.  From a get-together in a garden, to a full-blown street party, the Big Lunch is one simple act that aims to bring people together across the UK.

Wild Card's brief was to drive awareness of The Big Lunch within Cornwall.  Activity included launching The Big Lunch at Cornwall's most visited event, the Royal Cornwall Show, and driving further coverage through tailored features and editorial promotions.

A hugely successful campaign resulted in blanket west country coverage across print, broadcast and online media.
