Eden Project asked us…
To provide an integrated campaign to support their charitable event The Big Lunch, a one day get-together for neighbours held every year to help enrich communities and promote links of friendship.
What we did…
Our campaign for the 2016 event focused on the positive social impact The Big Lunch brings to communities in gathering neighbours together for a shared lunch on one day of the year.
The Wild Card design studio created a Map of Human Warming infographic to illustrate parts of the UK with the most connected.
A follow up social awareness research project on the Value of the Social Pound demonstrated the worth of connected communities, saving public services millions in the process.
To ensure a softer side to the story was included, Wild Card put together a light-hearted photocall with furry four-legged friends enjoying a Big Lunch together complemented research commissioned showing that dog owners are the most sociable of our neighbourhood.
What we achieved
The Wild Card design studio created a bank of assets to be seeded across all social channels, while the social team activated the Wild Card Buzz Room, turbo community management to drive chatter and buzz online.
The Eden Project saw a significant rise in the number of events taking place, with an increase of 20,000 from the previous most popular year.
