Laura, 27, who is an Account Director, has been shortlisted for The Outstanding Young Communicator of the Year award by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations in the annual South West PRide Awards.
The award recognises the achievements, performance and excellent work of young professionals in the PR industry, who are not only making a valuable contribution to the organisations they work with, but are showing considerable promise as future leaders and industry shapers.
Commenting on the shortlist, Kate Wild, managing director and founder of Wild Card, commented: “Laura has risen through the Wild Card ranks, showing continued passion and commitment to the business, her clients and the wider PR industry. Laura’s approach to PR exemplifies the enthusiasm of the whole team at Wild Card and we are of course thrilled for her and the shortlist is a great achievement.”
Wild Card has also been shortlisted for the Best Use of Photography for its work on the Cornwall Spring Story, which communicated how spring came early to Cornwall with an image led campaign. The project was launched on behalf of The Nare – Cornwall’s highest rated hotel – and the Great Gardens of Cornwall.
The winners of the South West 2013 CIPR PRide Awards will be announced on the 22nd November 2013 at a glittering ceremony in Bristol.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
