Earlier this month, the Wild Card team got to indulge in one of their passions: chocolate! As National Chocolate Week (13-19 October 2014) rolled around, the Wild Card Gü team were ready and waiting with Gü’s first ever National Chocolate Week menu. To highlight the talent and innovation behind Gü, Wild Card negotiated a contra partnership with highly regarded chef Mark Sargeant at award-winning Plum + Spilt Milk.
The three-course chocolate menu included a dessert by Gü Head Chef Fred Ponnavoy: the ultimate Chocolate & Tonka Bean Melting Middle with caramelised white chocolate ice cream and mandarin confit. The Wild Card team organised lifestyle photography to support the media sell in and for use on digital channels. An intimate media preview to explore the glorious world of chocolate was organised and included attendees: Liberty London Girl, Square Meal, Sainsbury’s Magazine blog and Daily Mail online. The menu included details of the Gü and Plum + Spilt Milk partnership and a competition to encourage social sharing. 28 pieces of media coverage were achieved.
