Wild Card has recently made three new senior hires, drawing talent from a diverse range of backgrounds to complement and grow the agency’s offering.
Sarah Mason (pictured above left) has joined as Senior Consultant bringing added weight to both the agency’s media relations and corporate offering. As a national magazine journalist for 15 years, Sarah has an innate sense of how to make a story newsworthy and win media buy in. Her last role was as Assistant Editor and Food Editor at The Sun on Sunday’s Fabulous Magazine, the UK’s most read women’s title, before she moved across to an in-house communications role at the newspaper’s parent company, News UK. There, she worked to restore the company’s reputation after the phone hacking scandal, and promoted its titles The Times, The Sunday Times and The Sun. Sarah’s black book of media contacts and her vision for creating strong strategic-led content will be invaluable across the agency.
Lucy Egerton (pictured above right) is our new Group Account Director having previously worked at Nexus Communications, where she was Associate Director working on household generic diflucan price brands including McCain, Lion Eggs and Dorset Cereals. Lucy brings a huge amount of experience in developing successful PR campaigns and her new role at Wild Card will she see her leading strategy on The Hain Daniels Group, Arla and key agency accounts.
As part of its integrated PR offering, Wild Card has also appointed Will Vieri as Head of Social, who joins from House of Fraser where he led on social channel strategy, servicing all departments and working with hundreds of retail brands. He was responsible for a number of innovative and successful social campaigns including the #BAFTAStyle campaign which trended UK wide. Furthermore, Will launched the UK retailer’s first ever customer service dedicated social media channel. Will’s past social experience also includes Sony and National Lottery and O2.
