Cervezas Alhambra’s Tapas Tour of Granada
Summer, what’s not to love; sunshine, rooftop pop-ups, holidays and for those of us fortunate enough to work in a drinks PR agency, press trips!
Last week was one of the best as we joined friends from the Metro, Your Media London and Menswear Style for a trip to the home of Cervezas Alhambra and quite possibly Spain’s best tapas tour, Granada. The purpose of our visit? Discovering Spain’s best crafted beer secret, Alhambra Reserva 1925 which has been brewed in the city for nearly 100 years. The visit included tours of the iconic Alhambra palace along the cobbled streets in search of the best beer and tapas.
First stop on the trip was lunch at the modern restaurant Sibarius, sampling the Alhambra Especial lager and authentic Mediterranean cuisine, before a visit to the stunning Alhambra palace.
If you’ve never visited Granada, you can’t miss a visit to the Arabic designed landmark overlooking the city, stunning gardens, architecture and water features. Pictures here are very much worth the full thousand words…
A busy day of sight seeing resulted in a tapas tour down the narrow Granada streets, with multiple stop offs for a refreshing half of Cervezas Alhambra; Especial, Reserva 1925 and even Mezquita (a cheeky 7.2% beer with its heritage in Cordoba). The best thing about the city is each drink is accompanied with a side of tapas of your choosing.
A whistle stop tour of Granada, was just enoug to scratch the service of this beautiful historical city, well worth a visit and we’ll be booking a return visit from our food and drinks PR home back to the sunshine very soon. Now back to the normality of London PR life without the architectural views! Here’s to summer 2017.
