Giraffe World Kitchen
Giraffe World Kitchen opened its doors to a whole new look last month so it was only right that we went down to Victoria to see the new style for ourselves, and of course sample some of their world food dishes!
The restaurant’s new interior evokes far flung corners of the world with a Cuban feel bar, up-cycled bottle walls, pattern painted timber ceiling with oak beam-work and brightly coloured tiles. There are knick-knacks on the wall from all over the world and the wondrous smells emanating from the kitchen mean you really do forget you’re in central London!
Giraffe World Kitchen invites guests to discover the world through the menu, with plates fresh from the kitchen including sharing starters from Mexican nachos nirvana to Turkish pide flatbreads, as well as sharing style plates of American BBQ beef short rib or comforting spicy rice bowls; all dishes are complemented perfectly with a wide selection of drinks including pre-dinner spritzers, cocktails, worldly wines and beers.
Our top tip – ask to be seated at the Chef’s table to really feel like you’re part of the hustle and bustle and we can personally recommend the blackened salmon and lamb tagine!
