Hotelympia Hot List
Last week Wild Card’s Homes & Lifestyle comms team selected their Hotelympia Hot List when they visited Hotelympia, the UK’s largest food service and hospitality event, to peruse the latest products and innovations, from the top ranges of cutlery to the latest loose tea on the market. Here’s our top five picks from the show:
We love the functional direction Villeroy & Boch’s hotel and restaurant tableware has taken. The Pasta Passion collection features ergonomically designed indentations to prevent cutlery sliding into pasta sauce and grooves allowing for easy twirling of spaghetti. Their BBQ Passion and Blossom collections also caught our eye!
This iconic British brand had an impressive array of professional knives on show with beautiful curved designs that would excite any head chef. Knives were displayed in stylish bamboo knife drawers and practical, http://humanrightsfilmnetwork.org/diflucan magnetic knife racks.
We hadn’t seen anything like this before – frozen herbal teas to maintain real freshness, as an alternative to dried teas. We tried some of the unusual blends on show from intense rosemary and star anise to refreshing cucumber and mint.
We stumbled across this stand with a backdrop of eye-catching illustrations, soon to realise that this one-woman-band from East London has made pitta chips the hottest thing to snack on. Flavours include chilli and garlic, spring onion and Italian cheese and rosemary and thyme – we can confirm that they taste delicious!
Dualit toasters are kitchen classics due to their simple style and durability. Dualit is always keeping up with interior trends, but their range of copper kitchen appliances on display at Hotelympia was our favourite!
