NEW MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE FOR 2015

Consumer brand specialist Wild Card has announced a new management structure to take the company into 2015 and beyond.

Tessa Willmott, currently the senior Director in the London office is being promoted to the role of Managing Director London, with overall responsibility for all the client work, ensuring the continued productivity, growth and profitability of Wild Card London.

Tess has been with Wild Card for four years; prior to that she was client side at Brand Events leading the communications and content for Taste of London and its sister events across the UK. At the time, Wild Card was her retained agency.

Wild Card Founder and current Managing Director, Kate Wild, will be taking on the role of Chief Executive, continuing to provide senior client counsel, whilst also stepping back to look at strategic business development both in the UK and internationally.

Georgie Upton has been promoted to Divisional Director, with responsibility for Wild Card’s ‘Wild West’ office in the South West.  Georgie first joined the Wild Card

London team in 2002 and after a short interregnum at Lexis PR, relocated to the Truro office in 2009.  Georgie will report into Kate Wild, as Managing Director of the ‘Wild West’ office.

Wild Card has also recruited Stuart Hood as Head of Digital. Stuart joins from McDonalds where he was Digital Marketing Manager, managing a £5m budget and providing strategic direction on all digital owned assets and brand campaigns. Reporting into Tess Willmott, Stuart will be heading up the Wild Card digital team, leading on all digital work and ensuring multi-platform integration of all our campaigns.

“This is an exciting time for Wild Card on the back of our recent acquisition of the homewares and interiors PR specialist Parker Hobart,” comments Kate Wild. “It was a busy year end with some exciting new contracts on the cards and I know Tess and Georgie are well equipped to meet the respective challenges of their new roles.”

Wild Card’s client roster includes brands and businesses such as Laurent-Perrier, Lurpak, Tetley, Jordans, De Vere Hotels, the Eden Project, Joseph Joseph, Tresco Island and Visit Cornwall.
