It’s Sandwich Week and we’re freestyling!

This week it’s Sandwich Week and we’re freestyling! We conducted research with Lurpak into lunchtime eating habits and the research shows one in ten tuck into EXACTLY the same thing for lunch each day!

That’s why they have hooked up with food psychologist, Greg Tucker to try to get the nation to try a little freestyling for once!

Here are my favourite mouth-watering ideas on how you could sex up your sarnie.

CHICKEN AND MANGO SANDWICH WITH MINT RAITA

Spread walnut bread or granary bread with Lurpak Spreadable. Top with mixed leaves, thinly sliced fresh mango and ripped-up roast chicken breast. Add a dollop of Greek yogurt flavoured with finely chopped mint and a spoonful of mango chutney with a few extra diflucan without prescription mint leaves on top for that little bit extra.

SMOKED HAM & EGG WITH CAPERS, GHERKINS AND MUSTARD MAYO

Top a seeded roll or bagel with Lurpak Spreadable, watercress, slices of smoked ham and a sliced boiled egg. Throw in a couple of sliced gherkins and finish with a dollop of mustard mayo and a sprinkling of tiny capers. Show it off! (see lead image) 

FETA WITH AVOCADO AND ROASTED RED PEPPER

Place a handful of baby spinach leaves onto fresh focaccia covered in Lurpak Spreadable. Add some ripe avocado slices, ripped-up roasted red pepper and broken-up chunks of feta, with a few torn basil leaves, ground black pepper and balsamic vinegar.
