A Sartorial Affair For Parker & Farr
Proving the line between interiors and fashion is constantly blurring, we decided to introduce renowned luxury upholsterers Parker & Farr with esteemed tailor Norton & Sons, in order to create a new sofa for the tailors’ elegant showroom on Savile Row.
The project, which was initially started to celebrate Wool Week, has seen the partnership between the two British craft brands flourish as Parker & Farr look to work on future projects for Norton & Sons and younger brother brand E.Tautz.
Each Parker & Farr sofa is hand stitched by skilled craftsmen echoing the production of Norton & Sons bespoke suits.
The Jefferson sofa has been upholstered in wool fabric traditionally used for suits and supplied by Yorkshire-based fabric mill Hainsworth, which has been weaving beautiful fabrics since 1783, meaning the project has brought together three great British brands.
Commenting on the collaboration, Tony Crinion, Managing Director for Parker & Farr said: “It’s been fantastic to work with a tailoring talent such as Norton & Sons and we’re delighted that our work together is set to continue”.
