ALL THINGS CAKE
Last weekend saw The Cake & Bake Show, sponsored by Billington’s, descend on Earls Court for an exhibition of all things sweet and sugary. After the Wild Card Bake Off on Friday, some of the team headed down to the show to check out the action in what turned out to be a cake-fuelled week!
Exhibits included the spectacular Wedding Cakes of the Future display, a timely nod to London Fashion Week with Stork’s impressive Cake Catwalk and book signings and demonstrations from leading chefs including Rosemary Shrager and John Whaite.
Where there is cake, you can guarantee KitchenAid will be close by! KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixers took can i buy diflucan at cvs pride of place on demonstration stages throughout the Show and visitors were given the chance to win their very own mixer on the Delicious magazine and Trex exhibitor stands.
There was, of course, lots of opportunities to pick up every kitchen gadget under the sun for your home baking; lace effect cake icing and meringues are all set to be big news in the year ahead.
With The Great British Bake Off back on our screens and baking fever still in full force, this year’s contestants were a huge hit at the show. Wild Card’s Sarah Littlefair was lucky enough to meet them for herself – but they were giving no clues as to who this year’s winner will be!
