As 2013 draws to a close, we’re looking back at some of our most successful events this year…

Staffan Tollgård’s showroom opening

In September interior designer Staffan Tollgård opened the doors to his first design store at Chelsea Waterside. We secured more than 200 press, interior designers’ and industry professionals for the opening of the fantastic space, which is entirely decorated from floor to ceiling with the brands now housed at the store. Hosted at the beginning of London Design Festival, the event was dubbed as the event of the festival!

ICON – a sculpture by Sebastian Conran

To raise awareness of Sebastian Conran’s unique sculpture, crafted from the nose of Concorde, we secured a coveted spot at Royal Ascot this year to unveil the work of art. Following the success of Ascot, the sculpture also went on public display at the Royal Albert Hall, which coincided with the TEDX talks during September. The campaign generated over 60 pieces of coverage in key titles, including The Metro, buy diflucan without prescription London Evening Standard, The Independent and The Guardian.  Sebastian was also interviewed by Channel 4, ITV News and Dubai Sport News.

JAB interior designer’s dinner

In November we secured 18 influential interior designers and industry professionals for the JAB Anstoetz private networking dinner hosted at Sub Zero & Wolf’s Subterranean Studio.  The night was all about building great relationships over fantastic food and wine.

Villeroy & Boch tableware Occasions event

Bypassing the usual ‘Christmas in July’, we created the Occasions event at Westminster College to display all of Villeroy & Boch’s brilliant new collections.  We collaborated with the College’s trainee chefs and waiting staff to create delicious food that enhanced the decorative displays. Press were delighted that the event was so original, without a glass of mulled wine or a mince pie in sight. And what’s more, we’ve smashed our 2013 targets thanks to the event!
