We can’t wait to see the new Kelly’s TV ad go live tonight.
It’s been very exciting to work with Kelly’s on the development of the campaign and on the launch this week.
From the beginning we were inspired by the boldness of the idea and the way in which it so brilliantly chimed with the brand’s core messaging on heritage and authenticity.
The new ad showcases the best of the Cornish landscape, produce and heritage – we’ve never been prouder to be based in this beautiful county and to work for such amazing Cornish brands.
It has been great to support the creative agency that delivered the ad, Isobel, and to share ideas with them for digital and social.
It’s also been fantastic to be able to involve Maga, the Cornish Language Partnership in the process, at a time when the government has cut funding for the Cornish language. As well as consulting on the script, they translated our Cornish phrasebook and we were really pleased to secure them interviews on regional BBC and ITV off the back of the campaign.
The reaction in Cornwall and nationally has been incredible. It has really struck a chord with the local community and has clearly caught the imagination of people beyond the Tamar – it’s been featured in the Mail, Telegraph, Guardian, Mirror, Express, Good Housekeeping and Stylist, to mention only a few!
Here’s the finished product, we hope you think it’s humorous and engaging. Look out for it on TV tonight (23rd May) as it goes live during Britain’s Got Talent. And maybe after watching, you might have a hankering for a bowl of dehen rew!
