The menu, which consisted of 193 courses – one from each country in the world – took six months to develop, 130 hours of kitchen time to prepare and contained over 1,000 ingredients from around the world.
We staged a national photocall before we visited our first country Fiji for a spot of fresh PawPaw, before venturing to Zambia for Toasted Seasoned Weaver Ants.
Towards the early afternoon diners were treated to Goat Stew from Jamaica, washed down with a cup of Malawian tea. In the early evening dishes included Fried Giant Crickets from Losotho followed by a tall glass of Iced Coffee from Nauru to help boost caffeine levels.
With tummies full and 193 courses consumed we finished the challenge at 9am the following day! Coverage on the challenge appeared in The Daily Express, The People, Metro, Kiss FM and Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch to name but a few![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
